How Miracle Oil Soothes Acne, Eczema, and Psoriasis

How Miracle Oil Soothes Acne, Eczema, and Psoriasis

If you have acne, eczema, or psoriasis, your skin is likely deficient in certain essential nutrients. This imbalance is caused by inflammation, and is one of the main underlying factors contributing to these conditions.

Although slathering oil all over your skin (especially on acne) seems counterintuitive, it has a lot of scientific merit to back it up.

This is where Miracle Oil comes in.

The secret behind Miracle Oil is its rich content of skin-loving omega-3 and 6 essential fatty acids, and cell regenerating phytonutrients. These are crucial components for combating inflammation, balancing nutritional deficiencies, and restoring the skin's natural moisture barrier.

It effectively soothes inflammatory skin conditions and irritations by quickly reducing dryness, itching, swelling, redness, pain, and the overall severity associated with them.

Miracle Oil also acts as an arsenal against free radical and UV damage, and helps to preserve the integrity of youthful skin.

Useful for the conditions of:

  1. Acne
  2. Eczema (atopic dermatitis)
  3. Topical steroid withdrawal
  4. Dry skin
  5. Rosacea
  6. Psoriasis
  7. Premature aging
  8. Irritations: sunburns, bug bites, razor burns, and minor scrapes

Our formula consists of over 15 organic cold-pressed oils and herbs. It's completely vegan, and contains no synthetic, toxic, or environmentally destructive ingredients - like palm oil. EWG's Skin Deep Cosmetics Database has given Miracle Oil the lowest possible score of 1, meaning their collection of scientific data has found that It's virtually non-hazardous.

So, how exactly does Miracle Oil work?

The role essential fatty acids play in skin health

Essential fatty acids aren't just good for your heart and brain - but your skin too. Omega-3 and 6 are the building blocks of cell membranes, which protect and nourish skin cells.

In particular, linoleic and gamma-linolenic (GLA) acids from the omega-6 family play a major role in the skin's barrier function. They have been shown to be one of the most effective components for the maintenance of healthy skin, providing moisture, suppleness, and preventing and treating inflammatory skin conditions. Not to mention, they also slow down the effects of cellular aging.

Most people with acne, psoriasis, and eczema-prone skin have a linoleic fatty acid deficiency, and is one of the main underlying causes of these conditions. Eczema is also closely related to a GLA deficiency

When the skin is deficient in linoleic acid, it produces more oleic acid - omega-9, which is irritating and promotes inflammation.

The good news is that these fatty acid imbalances can be balanced topically using certain plant oils, helping to drastically improve the skin's barrier function and inflammatory skin conditions.

Due to our careful selection of ingredients, Miracle Oil has a low proportion of omega-9, compared to high omega-6's.

Our ingredients provide the basis for renewal

Organic Evening Primrose Oil

Miracle Oil is mainly made up of evening primrose oil. The reason is simple: It provides the perfect fatty acid balance for skin health, putting almost all other oils in the world to shame. But, why is it so good?

Evening primrose oil is very high in linoleic acid, extremely low in oleic acid, and is one of the few oils that contains a significant amount of GLA - 9% of the total weight. It's proven to increase skin moisture, elasticity, firmness, and reverse trans-epidermal water loss.

Organic Herb-Infused Safflower Oil

We created a proprietary mix of 10 science-backed herbs, and infused them into safflower oil - a simple ingredient high in linoleic acid.

What we do is soak our dried blend into safflower oil, infusing them under a temperature-controlled low heat setting, for a long period of time. This is a method inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine, and ensures maximum potency, without the nutrients being destroyed in the process.

From what started out as a virtually clear odourless oil, is now a deep brown with an obvious herbal scent.

The safflower oil has become packed full of regenerating phytonutrients. Phytonutrients are compounds found in plants that serve numerous functions in the plant's vitality, and have already been proven to be extremely effective in the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases, when applied topically.

What was once a simple oil, has now become a potent anti-inflammation superstar and a vital component in Miracle Oil.

The herbs we use:

Calendula, comfrey root, gotu kola, plantain, white willow bark, licorice root, butcher's broom, aloe vera leaf, spirulina, and camu camu berry.

Organic Chia Seed Oil

Consisting of 60% omega-3 fatty acid (alpha-linolenic acid or ALA), this is a no brainer. Omega-3 is an essential fatty acid that increases skin's barrier function and hydration, having a positive influence on inflammation in the the epidermis (outer layer of skin).

Chia oil can help reduce lesions and scaling associated with psoriasis, and was shown to improve pruitus (chronic itching of the skin) in patients with end-stage renal disease.

Organic Tamanu Oil

In late 2015, a major study proved tamanu oil has wound repairing and antibiotic properties, and is capable of inhibiting bacterial growth.

It's also anti-inflammatory, and stimulates cell proliferation.

We use two antioxidants in our formula: organic rosemary CO2, and non-GMO vaccuum-distilled vitamin E. Together, they help to naturally preserve the oils and extracted herbal nutrients from degradation.

Organic Essential Oils

Used at a very low concentration (0.25% of the entire formula), our blend consists of 3 essential oils: tea tree, frankincense, and helichrysum. Usually, skin care products contain about 0.50% to 3% essential oils, which may cause irritations. This makes Miracle Oil suitable for sensitive skin.

  1. Tea tree oil has strong antimicrobial properties and can reduce the size of acne lesions, histamine-induced inflammation, accelerate wound repairing time, and inhibit chemo-resistant tumors.
  2. Frankincense oil (also known as boswellia) has a direct inhibiting effect on inflammation, and improves psoriasis (scaling and erythema), eczema (itching and erythema), and other dermatitis skin disorders. It also contains a compound called beta-boswellic acid which possesses anti-carcinogenic and anti-tumor properties.
  3. Helichrysum oil comes from the sunflower family and offers strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

Aside from the science behind Miracle Oil, there is also anecdotal evidence confirming its efficacy. People have found that using it significantly reduces serious inflammatory conditions, extremely fast. A collection of testimonials from real customers and bloggers can be viewed on our press page.
